The Mission

Since 2024, I have served as a Shift Lead for the Islamic Society of Pinellas County during critical community service events. This role involves managing the logistics of large-scale gatherings (100+ daily attendees) and ensuring the safety and comfort of community members. It requires rapid problem-solving and the ability to maintain composure in a high-traffic environment.

Leadership & Impact

• Team Coordination: Directed a rotating team of 10+ youth volunteers, assigning roles based on individual strengths to maximize efficiency.
• Crisis Management: Resolved logistical conflicts and interpersonal issues on the ground, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees.
• Community Health: Oversaw food distribution protocols, prioritizing hygiene and speed to serve large groups within tight time constraints.
